I felt that a CAD software ( GOOGLE SKETCHUP) was the best material to use to create the final structure as I would be able to do a lot more with a CAD software, that I needed through the design rather than through actual material by hand. My structure consist of glass and metal, glass is the most useful in this situation as it is transparent.
