Whilst I was sitting on the pavilion I made some rough sketches of how various areas looked to me, I make marks in contrast to the texture of the material as well. Later I added photographs to those drawings and allowed the lines to branch off into the images to suggest a growing effect as the squares on the original pavilion kept on repeating themselves.
